Mahbubnagar, January 22 (INN): Bharatiya Janata party state president G Kishan Reddy on Saturday stated that his party would extend full support to the United Progressive Alliance Government if it introduces a bill on Telangana during the budget session of the Parliament.
Addressing a meeting at RDO office in Nagarkurnool as part of Telangana Poruyatra, Kishan Reddy said that all problems in the Telangana region would be resolved with formation of separate state only and the BJP would extend whole support to UPA Government in this regard. If the UPA government fails to honour its promise on Telangana, he assured that the BJP would announce separate state if it comes to power in 2014 general elections.
Kishan Reddy said that the yatra was launched to uphold the self-respect of Telangana people in the region.
The BJP chief said that the party would announce a special package for Mahbubnagar district to prevent migration of farm labourers.
Telangana Nagara president Nagam Janardhan Reddy, Nizamabad MLA Y Lakshmi Narayana and other senior leaders accompanied Kishan Reddy in the yatra. (INN)
