Hyderabad, February 27: Telangana people are accustomed to cruelty hence they endured every kind of cruelties but now the time is ripe that we get rid of this through separate Telangana state. These views were expressed by Mr. Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan managing editor Siasat daily addressing on the occasion of 100 year Telangana Seminar held at Sudershan Garden Function Hall. The seminar was convened by ‘Palmur Adhyana Vedika’.
He further said after the formation of Andhra Pradesh our right has been snatched by us, our water, our employment and every thing have been snatched away from us. Sheer injustice is done to Muslims. Our lands had been 40 percent they have come down to hardly 1.5 percent. We were robbed of every thing, denied employment.
After the formation of Andhra Pradesh out of 1 lakh 10 thousand police forces Telangana region has just 30 thousand police forces. Only 23 percent Muslims reside in own houses while 49 percent reside in rented houses.
After the formation of Andhra Pradesh illegal possession on waqf properties was prevalent. Nothing has been done to stop it. The present airport is constructed on 1100 acre waqf land, and another 1 lakh 86 thousand land is grabbed by Andhraseema people.
Nagarjuna project dam was constructed in such a way that it only benefits people of Andhra region.
Andhra leaders are sending suitcases full of notes to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi that’s why she is silent over the issue but we will sacrifice anything for our right and will achieve Telangana.
