New Delhi: Muslims have begun campaign demanding reservations to OBC Muslims. Former chairman OBC Commission, Govt. of India and former Justice Supreme Court V Aishwarya is spearheading the cause.
A seminar was organised in this connection in Nehru Yuva Kendra in New Delhi. Representatives of Muslim OBC from Delhi, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka participated in the conference. A joint Action Committee was set up by the OBC organisations which unanimously advocated for 27 pc reservations to OBC Muslims.
On the occasion, Justice V Aishwarya told that the only constitutional way to give reservations to Muslims is to give them separate 27 pc quota.
