Separate line for Women and Senior citizens in railway stations demanded

In all the railway stations, the ticket issuing counter for the senior citizens and women is common. “Tatkaal” tickets are issued at 10 am. Women and senior citizens start forming a “Q” right from 7 am. There are not enough seats. As a result, senior citizens have to stand for hours together whereas young women occupy the seats.

If there are many women in the “Q” they get Tatkaal ticket early. By the time the turn of the senior citizens comes, all the Tatkaal tickets get exhausted. It is requested that separate “Q” lines and separate counters should be provided for senior citizens to save them from the trouble of standing for hours together.
