Separate Higher Education Councils soon

Telangana Education Minister, G Jagadishwar Reddy said that they will set up a separate Higher Education Council for Telangana State soon. He said that continuing joint admissions for another 10 years will result in compounding problems for students. Stressing the need for conducting separate admissions, he suggested that Telangana and AP Governments have to sit across the table and resolve the issue. Two separate Higher Education Councils will prove handy, he maintained. Besides fee reimbursement, an amicable decision will be taken to protect the interests of the students, he said.
