Law Ministry, Govt. of India has cleared the issue of formation of separate High Court for A.P. State. Supreme Court has also issued instructions to Hyderabad High Court to take necessary steps for the bifurcation of Judges and Staff. Govt. of Telangana was exerting pressure on Supreme Court. No place has been decided for separate High Court. Chief Justice of High Court will take decision in consultation with Governor of A.P. Govt. of Telangana wants to setup in King Koti Palace. As per section 34 (2) of A.P. Reorganization Act. it is essential to give preference for the Lawyers to give their preference for the formation of separate Bar Council. It may be noted that a large section of Lawyers is demanding to retain Telangana High Court in the present building but it is very surprising that Mr. KCR wants to construct a new High Court for Telangana at a separate place. There is also a demand to name Hyderabad High Court as Telangana High Court.
