Separate EAMCET for Telangana students: Papi Reddy

With an hour after the APSCHE announcing the dates for conduct for EAMCET and other CET exams, the Telangana State Council for Higher Education announced that it would conduct separate EAMCET exams for the students of Telangana State.

Speaking to media persons here, TSCHE chairman Papi Reddy accused the APSCHE of acting in haste and unilateral manner in announcing the dates for conduct of various exams for admission into professional courses. He said that the TSCHE will conduct common entrance tests for its students on its own. He informed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has already signed the files pertaining to EAMCET exams for Telangana students and the dates for EAMCET and other exams would be finalised after holding a meeting with the Vice-Chancellors of all universities of Telangana soon.
