In separate cases, five persons were killed after being hit by train at different places.
A 30-year-old man died on the spot after he was hit by a MMTS train between Uppuguda and Falaknuma Railway Stations on Friday evening. The deceased was later identified as Md Haneef, a hotel worker and resident of Ghulam Murtuza Chavni, according to Kachiguda Railway Police.
In another case, 42-year-old Umesh Kumar of Hafizpet died instantaneously after he was hit by a train near Borabanda Railway Station on Friday night. He was a labourer and native of Bidar district of Karnataka, Nampally Railway Police said. In a similar case, 45-year-old Ch Narasimha, a labourer, died on the spot when he was hit by a train near Ghatkesar Raiwlay Station on Friday evening. According to Secunderabad Railway Police, Narasimha was a resident of Kondapur.
In a separate case, the unidentified man succumbed to the injuries which he sufferred after being hit by a train on Platform No 3 of Falaknuma Railway Station on July 31. He was undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital where he died Friday night. He was clad in cream-colour shirt and black trousers. In a different case, an unidentified man of about 45 years was found dead on the railway tracks between Hitech City and Borabanda Railway Station. He is suspected to have been hit by a train while crossing the tracks on Friday night.
Both the unidentified bodies have been preserved at the OGH mortuary for autopsy and identification. (INN)
