Mumbai, Nov 11: The BSE Sensex edged higher after opening lower on Wednesday, led by gains in Reliance Industries and tracking a rise in Asia.
At 9:56 a.m. (0426 GMT), the 30-share BSE index was up 0.19 per cent at 16,471.08 points, with 15 components advancing.
Reliance Industries was trading 0.5 per cent higher at 2,062.35 rupees.
The 50-share NSE index was down 0.1 per cent at 4,876.65.
