Mumbai: The 30-share benchmark of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) rose by 156.72 points, or 0.56 percent to 27,720.15.in early trade on Thursday.
There was a gain of 104.20 points over the previous session.
The National Stock Exchange ( Nifty) also surged by 46.60 points, or 0.55 percent to be at 8,421.65 in early morning trade.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng firmed up 0.22 percent, while Japan’s Nikkei was higher by 1.36 percent in early trade today.
The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.69 percent higher in Wednesday’s trade after the Federal Reserve upgraded its outlook on the economy, buoyed sentiment. (ANI)
