Prof. Mohammad Miyan, Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, has today appointed Prof. S. M. Rahmatullah as Dean School of Arts and Sciences for a period of three years and asked him to continue as in-charge Registrar, the post he has been holding for the last two years.
In another decision, Prof Mohammad Miyan appointed Prof. Mohammed Zafaruddin, Professor Department of Translation Studies, as the Officer on Special Duty at the Directorate of Distance Education.
The Vice Chancellor also appointed Prof. P. F. Rahman, Dean School of Sciences, as the Chairman, newly created Central Administration Monitoring and Review Committee.
In yet another decision, the Vice Chancellor appointed Prof. Mohd. Shahid of the Department of Social Work as Dean Student Welfare.
The Vice Chancellor had earlier appointed Prof. Syed Najamul Hasan, Professor of Mathematics, as the Dean Academics.
