Senior leaders not happy with TRS: Konda

Hyderabad: The rebel TRS MP Konda Visweswar Reddy who has recently joined Congress party in the presence of party president Rahul Gandhi, has made sensational remarks against his estranged party and its president KCR and his son KTR. He said that several senior TRS leaders like K.Kesava Rao and MP AP Jithender Reddy were also not happy with the party leadership and added that the two leaders were also planning to leave the party at any moment.

“Many senior TRS leaders are calling it as TRS private Limited company in their private conversations. These leaders who gave Jai Telangana slogans are now forced to give Jai KCR and Jai KTR slogans in the state. Nobody is happy with the party leadership,” he said while addressing a press conference in the city.

Reddy claimed that he had to resign from the party as his self respect was hurt in the party. He said that despite being an MP he could not register a case against the henchmen of State minister Mahender Reddy for attacking his supporters and followers from the constituency. He alleged that there was nothing transparent and open in the party and added that even the finance minister Etela Rajender does not get to know about his department’s annual budget until the day of its presentation. Reddy alleged that the new comers were being given preference over those leaders who fought for the Telangana state.
