Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to develop Java code for use in our Client public facing web applications, such as e-commerce, member services, and customer portal services, as well as service objects for the middle tier and enterprise application engines that support them. The incumbent will serve on a team of application developers in the ITS directorate. This team is critical to Client’s ability to deliver world class services to members, customers, and business partners via the web. The incumbent is also expected to participate in code review, design review, and other professional service committees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop application code in Java, JavaScript, CSS, and other technologies as needed.
Analyze business problems and develop requirements for a solution.
Provide documentation, code review, and testing services for the team as needed.
Develop database queries, XML schema, and other supporting structures.
Provide support, troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by members and users.

3 – 5 years of experience in jQuery/JSON, AJAX, XML, DHTMLX, and experience can substitute for higher degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Working Experience in technologies like AJAX, Frontend, JSF, RichFaces, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Backend.
Experience with Single Sign On and Web Services Integration.
Knowledge of using bug tracking tools, source control tools, deployment and build processes.
Need excellent communication skills (both Oral and Written).
Work Shift: 1:00 – 10:00 PM IST during Day light saving
