Role and Responsibilities:
Preparing the detailed design documents and design approaches using the various tools
Define implementation approaches, algorithms and code structure to meet the requirements
This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy.
Good at the analysis, design, and implementation planning of the technical/business solution.
Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.
SSE experience and responsibility includes defining, prototyping and recommending the technology solutions.
Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation
Work collaboratively within a team of other engineers and have strong influencing and help the rest of the team in achieving the goals.
Strong generalist understanding of concepts related to data structures and standard programming practices.
Mentor employees who want to pursue a SSE career path.
Should have excellent attention to high quality and drive it in all projects
Should participate in Code reviews and troubleshooting within and outside his/her project team.
Education and Experience:
Engineering or Technical Degrees (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA)
5 to 7 years of total experience in Data Structures, Algorithms,
iOS/MacOSX
Desired Skills/Experience:
Very Good Experience in Computer Science fundamentals, Data structures and Algorithms.
Excellent written and oral communication Skills
Strong Analytical skills.
Excellent programming and debugging skills.
Should be excellent knowledge in using xCode.
Good knowledge of iOS & Cocoa design patterns, UML.
Very good experience in OOPS, Objective C and Multi Threading
Very Good Experience in Cocoa touch, Java Script.
Experience in product development, preferably Mobile.
Knowledge of repository tools especially, git.
Knowledge of Mac environment.
Experience with entire software development lifecycle and working with high level specifications, limited design documents.
Last 3-5 years working must be as SSE in iOS or Mac OSX.
Hands-on experience in effort estimation techniques.
Experience should clearly demonstrate Industry patterns adopted, applied articulating the trade-offs and compromises adopted toward meeting the non-functional.
Strong Test Automation exposure with relevant tools.
Strong skills in Unit testing by writing unit test cases in XCUnit is a must.
Debugging skills in xCode, application profiling using instruments is a must.
Preferred/Additional Skills:
Strong hands-on experience on designing for super-performance, security compliances, quality assurance processes and other non-functional areas.
Having a hands-on experience in Swift is an added advantage.
Last 5-6 years working as SSE in iOS or Mac OSX is an added advantage.
