ROLE: Senior Account Manager (Inside Sales – Transportation).
The Inside Sales, Account Manager will assume responsibility for the sales of engineering services and solutions in one or more of these industries. The role is focused on maintaining existing client relationships and growing our footprint and new revenue streams as a strategic services partner. This role will work closely with the North America sales team, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery organizations. This person will work both independently and as an integral part of a multicultural team to generate and nurture account relationships. Success in this role will create opportunities for advancement within Business Development & Account Management.
Specifically, the Inside Sales Account Manager – Transportation, will be required to have:
Strong business acumen and industry expertise
Neutral accent with strong verbal/written skills
Skills in collaborating with extended team delivery/technical resources, Lead gen, BD, Finance, and HR.
Skills in working with customers remotely (via phone & email)
Articulate Cyient value proposition in a cold call environment
Engage different levels (VP, Dir, Mngr) and LOB (Engineering, Procurement, Prod Dev, R&D) in dialogue to understand existing operations, growth strategy, need for 3rd party services, etc.
Account research (identify products segments that align to Cyient service offering)
Qualifying a lead by understanding Budget, Authority, Need, Timeframe (BANT) and compelling reason to act
Create and maintain an account plan articulating a sound strategy to maintain and grow existing business, in addition to the following sales process:
Identify potential new customers within the account
Manage existing/new customer relationships
Work with delivery to meet schedule, cost and quality as per service agreements
Identify and qualify new opportunities
Prepare and present information to senior and executive level managers
Maintain sales opportunity reporting through Salesforce.com
Collaborate with engineering teams to create customers proposals
Participate in sales skills training as required Track and forecast both purchase orders and revenue
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and conferences
Perform other duties as required
Strong networking, verbal & written communication skills
At least 8 years overall marketing/business development experience in a global technology and/or services company; must be comfortable making cold calls
Excellent professional presentation skills and telephone manner
Native-level English language skills; excellent written and spoken English
Ability to successfully work on a multinational and multicultural basis
Self-motivated and willing to travel occasionally
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Experience in business development activities such as market research, lead management, or presales support; experience researching customers and developing discussion points
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in marketing, business administration, business development
Work Location: Bangalore & Hyderabad (Second preference).
