Seminar on Indian Cinema by Alami Urdu Foundation

Mr. Ali Siddiqui started his life as a Journalist in Hyderabad and later shifted to New Delhi, performed historical deeds for the development of Urdu language and literature.

After his demise, his son, Mr. Kabeer Siddiqui has taken up to fulfill his father’s mission. He established Alami Urdu Foundation. A seminar will be held by this Foundation on the completion of hundred years of Indian Cinema to highlight the role of Urdu in the development of Indian cinema.

A three day seminar will be held in New Delhi at India Islamic Cultural Centre and in Jubilee Hall in Hyderabad from 8th to 10th February 2013. Urdu scholars, poets, lyricists and writers associated with Film Industry will be invited for this seminar.
