(Siasat News) Centre for Urdu Language Literature and Culture of Maulana Azad National Urdu University is conducting a two day National seminar on 23rd and 24th October on “Detective literature and Ibne Safi”. The objective of the seminar is to bring together professors, intellectuals, research scholars, teachers and students to provide a common platform for cross fertilizations of their ideas. The traditions of detective literature would be explored with reference to the detective novels written by famous Urdu writer Ibne Safi under “Jasoosi Duniya” series published from Allahabad in the 50’s and 60’s of the last century so that the poetics of Detective Urdu literature could be determine.
