Centre for Urdu Language Literature and Culture of Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organizing a two day seminar on “Detective Literature” and IBN-E-SAFI on 23rd and 24th October 2013. According to a press note issued by Prof. Khaled Sayeed, Director of the Seminar, the objective of the seminar is to provide a common platform for professors and research scholars for the cross fertilization of ideas on the tradition of detective novels in Urdu with special reference to the detective novels written by IBN-E-SAFI under the title “Jasoosi Duniya”.
The last date of submission of research papers is 10th September 2013. The participants can register their names before 20th October. Further details can be had at Urdu Universities website www.manuu.ac.in
