A seminar and a felicitation function will be held today at 4:30 pm at the Auditorium of Salarjung Museum in connection with “Mother Tongue Day”. A seminar on “Mother Tongue and the demands of contemporary Era” will be held.
Hafiz Peer Shabbeer Ahmed, MLC, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director of Urdu Academy, Mr. Amjad Hussain, Chairman Urdu Academy of Karnataka and Prof. Meer Thurab Ali will preside over the seminar. Mr. Arifuddin Ahmed, founder President of Tahaffuz-e-Urdu organization will present welcome address. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Waheed, IFS, Commissioner of Minorities Welfare, Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani, Chairman of AP State Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Kazim Ali Khan, President of Ambedkerites Association, Mr. Abid Rasool Khan, General Secretary of AP congress Committee and Mr. Mohammed Qamaruddin, Retired Engineer-In-chief will be guests of honour.
