Siasat daily organised a pre-counseling session and seminar at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat premises, Abids to provide information and guidance regarding EAMCET counseling.
Career Guidance columnist Mr. M A Hameed told that general counseling for medicine is held at NTR University of Health Sciences while 3 Muslim Minority Colleges conduct separate counseling for MBBS. To attend the counseling, form has to be submitted beforehand. This year, it is likely that 150000 seats would remain vacant in engineering, since there are 3 lakh seats in more than 600 colleges and only 2 lakh candidates have qualified in the exam.
He urged the parents to avail, reservation, fee reimbursement and other government concessions.
