Receipt of applications for Self Employment Scheme for Minorities is still continued. The applications are likely to be accepted till February 15. Although the extension of the last date was not officially announced but the officials were directed to accept the online applications as well as the applications received at the office. Minority Finance Corporation has set up a special counter in its office where scores of applicants were seen submitting their applications.
Meanwhile the Hyderabad collector convened a meeting with the bankers to review the loan issuance to the applicants. The government under the new scheme has set a target to disburse Rs. 100 crore subsidy among 26620 applicants.
