Mohammed Javeed pulled rickshaw for 12 years then he started small business on footpath which by the grace of Allah has become a great source of income for him. 33 year old Mohammed Javeed has 2 sons and a daughter. He hailed from Nagpur. He shifted to Hyderabad during his childhood. Now he makes food at home and sells it on a table placed on the footpath of Banjara Hills Road no 10. He started this business in 2007.
Javeed also owes his flourishing business to his virtuous and helpful wife Muneesa Parveen. Javeed’s wife cooks rice, dal, chicken biryani, boti rice and egg biryani at her house from 12 noon to 3 pm and hands over this to her husband. The food is sold within 2 to 3 hours. Auto drivers, taxi drivers besides company workers anxiously wait for his trolley for their lunch. As soon as the trolley stops at the spot the delicious food prepared at home is sold within no time. His two sons aged 14 and 7 years help him in his work. He says that seeing his footpath business flourish, he has called his cousin residing in Nagpur and set up similar business at another place in Banjara Hills for the later.
Javeed’s business is a living example for community youth who complain of not getting employment and come out with lame excuses for their idleness.
