Washington: In a sweet gesture, pop sensation Selena Gomez made a special guest appearance at Children’s Hospital Orange County’s oncology prom event here.
Other celebs, including Grey’s Anatomy stars Sarah Drew, James Pickens Jr., Caterina Scorsone and Kevin McKidd, also attended the annual event on Saturday night, reported E Online.
The former Disney star was seen wearing a black and white polka dot dress, while she posed for pictures with fans at the prom, organised for teenagers and young adults undergoing cancer treatment as well as post-treatment survivors.
Fans took to Instagram and posted many pictures with the celebs.
“Best night ever @selenagomez #chocprom2018 #choc,” one fan wrote, alongside a selfie with Gomez.
The ‘It ain’t me’ singer has been one of the most high-profile advocates for mental health as well.
