Washington [USA]: She is back with a bang! Selena Gomez officially returned to the stage for her first performance since her hospitalization late last year.
Gomez, on Friday, surprised her fans by joining Cardi B, DJ Snake and Ozuna, at Coachella, where she performed their hit song ‘Taki Taki’.
This marked as Gomez’s first performance of 2019. The singer has been maintaining distance from the spotlight over the past year as she focused on battling some mental and physical health issues.
Watching the singer perform on the stage, the fans could not contain their happiness and went wild as they cheered for her.
Matching their excitement level, Gomez performed with all her heart and energy and was seen smiling throughout her time onstage.
Taking to her Instagram account, Cardi B shared a fun backstage moment posing with Gomez and snake. “Coachella and I love them,” she wrote on the post.
According to E Online, the ‘I can’t get enough’ singer last performed live during her friend Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour in May 2018.
While she struggled from serious health issues, the singer dropped a song titled ‘I Can’t Get Enough’ in March. However, she stayed away from the limelight.
E! News had confirmed in October that Selena had entered a treatment facility to take help for her ongoing mental issues related to anxiety and depression. The ‘Heart Want What It Wants’ singer also underwent a kidney transplant last year.
