Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today ruled out any friction or internal squabbles in the politburo over the selection of party candidates for the Rajya Sabha seats. In a press release, TDP President dismissed the media reports about Politburo member Sri K E Krishnamurthy’s outbursts on selection of Devender Gowd as Rajya Sabha nominee. He said the politburo discussed all the applications and candidatures and their pros and cons for seven hours and decided in favour of CM Ramesh and T Devender Gowd unanimously. He appealed to party men to not give room for any rumours or misapprehensions on the party choice which was made keeping the party’s long term program for promotion of backward class communities.
