Syeda Farah Shah is struggling for justice for the past 9 years. It must be noted that Syeda Farah secured 21st rank in DSC 2006. She got a letter from DEO dated July 23, 2008 directing Farah to obtain appointment letter by submitting certificates at DEO office. When certificates were submitted the then DEO Mallamma Devi refused to give appointment order saying that Farah is not B.Ed she refused to accept her PGDELT certificate.
Syeda Farah Shah has done MA (English) and PGDELT. Even after approaching a number of times, she was refused the job after which she had to approach AP Administrative Tribunal in 2009. As per provisional orders OANo/o334/2009 it was directed to commissioner and DSC to issue posting orders to the lady. Consequently orders were issued by DEO on July 7, 2010 and Farah was posted at a school in Bahadurpura Zone. On July 8, 2010, she joined duty but the very next day she was sent to DEO office. It was told that the orders were not written in green ink. After making rounds of DEO office she approached High Court. High Court gave judgment in her favour on October 21, 2013. However on February 5, 2015 DEO Subba Reddy showed prejudiced and unprofessional attitude and linked her case with another unbefitting case. It remains to be seen if the court order prevails or she again becomes the target of prejudiced officials.
