Hyderabad: Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily while addressing a gathering at Hanamkonda, Warangal told that these days, matrimonial alliances are being finalized on the basis of monetary benefits. He suggested that girls with good moral character should be preferred for matrimonial alliances.
The function was organized by Millat Fund of Siasat Urdu Daily in collaboration with Minorities Intellectual Forum of Warangal.
Dr. Anees Siddiqui, President of the Forum presided over the function. Mr. Jalaluddin Akbar, IFoS, Chief Conservator of Forests attended the meeting as Chief Guest. A large number of parents and guardians from Warangal and adjoining areas attended the function.
Mr. Amer Ali Khan further told that day-by-day, the situation is getting worse. He lamented on the killings in the masjid of New Zealand and said that by such actions, the image of humanity would be tarnished. He prayed for the victims.
He mentioned that when the Muslims ruled this country, they exhibited exemplary governance.
Mr. Jalaluddin Akbar highlighted the social service activities of Siasat Urdu Daily and paid rich tributes to Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily.
Dr. Anees Siddiqui welcomed the guests and audience. He gave the details of Du-ba-Du program which was organized by Millat Fund of Siasat and Intellectuals’ Forum of Warangal. He thanked the efforts of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan and Mr. Amer Ali Khan.
Seated on the dais were Mr. M.A. Kaleem, Secretary, Mr. Masood Mirza, Mr. M.A. Nayeem, reporter of Siasat and others.
Parents and guardians congratulated Mr. Amer Ali Khan for arranging this program. Registration of 50 boys and 100 girls took place.
