Seemandhra Students’ JAC convener Kishore Kumar on Wednesday alleged that the Congress has decided to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh only to meet its political agenda.
Extending support to YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma’s Deeksha at Jantar Manthar in New Delhi, Kishore Kumar said bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh would neither benefit Telangana nor Seemandhra region. They have urged Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to keep Andhra Pradesh in tact, he added.
Reminding that the intensity of agitation in the Seemandhra region clearly proved that Seemandhra people are totally opposed to bifurcation of the State, he urged the Centre to consider the sentiments of Seemandhra people also. (NSS)
