Seema Andhra MPs divided on resignation issue

Only four MPs met Ms. Meera Kumar, Speaker of Lok Sabha yesterday. Mr. Harish Kumar and Mr. S.P.Y. Reddy (MPs) withdrew from the decision of meeting the speaker. Mr. L. Rajgopal, Arun Kumar, Mr. Venkat Ram Reddy and Mr. Sai Pratab met the Speaker and demanded to accept their resignations. They told that there is no pressure on them. They hoped that their resignation would be accepted. More members of Lok Sabha might meet the Speaker. Mr. Arun Kumar defended the statement made by Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy and said that he has not said anything wrong but presented the facts. He apprised the Central leaders of the issues arising out of bifurcation of the State. All of us should honour the sentiments of the people. He told that all these MPs would join the public and be one with them. Mr. Rajgopal told that at any cost they will not allow the State to be divided. They said that they won’t hesitate to sacrifice anything to keep the State United.
