Seema Andhra leaders meet to oppose Telangana

A meeting of the Seema Andhra leaders was held yesterday in Ministers’ Quarters Club. Six ministers, 25 MLA’s and 8 M.L.C’s attended the meeting. These leaders decided to keep A.P. State united. They also resolved to visit New Delhi to meet the leaders of Congress High Command.

After the meeting, Mr. Shailajanath, Minister for Primary Education told newsmen that these leaders are opposed to bifurcation of the State. They have already expressed the stand they have taken. Once again, they want to go to New Delhi to express their views to the Central leaders.

Congress M.P., Mr. K.S.Rao is arranging their meeting with the Central leaders in New Delhi. If need be, they would visit Delhi on 26th or 27th September.
Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao is already in New Delhi meeting Congress leaders. They also want to meet them to convey the sentiments of the people of Seem Andhra.
