(Siasat News) Anti-Telangana agitations continues in Coastal Andhra and Rayalseema region. Hundreds of agitators shouted slogans in favour of integrated A.P. and took out rallies. The agitation entered 24 day. A mass rally was taken out in Kurnool district under the title “One Lakh Hiccups”. State Govt. Employees have been agitating since 12 August. Joint Action Committee of the students announced that it will organized “Jala Deeksha” (Water Satyagraha) in Vishakhapatnam. They demanded the central ministers of Coastal districts and Rayalaseema areas to resign from the posts to pressurizes Congress leaders. Seema Andhra employees have also joined the agitation in Hyderabad. Central Govt. employees have also announced that they will join the agitation. Advocates started 48 hours hunger strikes outside the court premises in Ananthapur. In this district Govt. employees have shifted offices. It is understood that the Union leaders of state Govt. employees will go to New Delhi soon to impress upon the Central Govt. to keep state integrated.
President of state Congress, Mr. B. Satyanarayana has appeal to all the people to allow the counseling process of engineering students to continue in a peace full manner. YSR Congress honourary President, Ms. Vijayamma has started indefinite hunger strike in Guntur. The hunger strike of TDP MLA Mr. P. Ragunath Reddy entered the 4 day. Thousands of students took up a rally in Srikakulam in which employees of RTC, Advocates and Teachers also participated. Private bus operators are exploiting the situation and collecting heavy rates of bus rates.
