In the wake of bomb blasts in Dilsukhnagar, the city police tightened the security measures at Shamshabad Airport as VIPs were pouring into the city to inspect the bomb blast site at Dilsukhnagar. Rapid Action Force personnel entered into the scene along with the local police.
On the other hand, the police heaved a sigh of relief as Friday prayers ended peacefully. The police also tightened the security in Old City and increasing patrolling as the BJP observed bandh. The police set up metal detectors at all the mosques and checked the namazis with bomb squads. (NSS)
