Looking for a resource or set of technical resources that can work independently to help drive POCs on enabling encryption in transit and in rest for SAP and surrounding interfaces. The individual(s) will be supported by a team, but it is expected that they will be the main technical contact and help prove out solutions that can be packaged and rolled out SAP wide is future releases. Need to be able to work independently.
Resources need to have working knowledge of:
SAP SNC Encryption for SAP GUI and other products (such as SAPRouter) using SAP NI protocol
Knowledge on SAP SNC configuration for Data Transmission and Single sign on between SAP Client components (Like SAP GUI, NWBC, Office Add-ons, RFC Servers and RFC Destinations) and SAP application servers.
Should have knowledge on using Kerberos, X.509 and other SNC products.
Should have knowledge on enabling configuration for Kerberos or X.509 or Vendor SNC products at Windows operating system level and also in SAP NW AS (In both ABAP as well as J2EE engines).
Should have knowledge on deploying SAP user mappings for SNC products(Either Kerberos or X.509 or other products) from GRC.
SMB 3.0 Encryption for encrypting traffic to and from File Servers
Should have knowledge of Windows 2012 R2 failover clusters
Knowledge of new SMB 3.0 features and implementation preferred
Bitlocker Encryption for encrypting files at rest on File Servers
Should have working knowledge of Bitlocker on Windows 2012 R2 servers and manageability
Key Management for management of certificates that might be required when implementing encryption
Should be able to work within Microsoft to determine best way to manage encryption keys if required by a solution
Create documentation and process on renewing keys
Work with monitoring team to ensure proper alerts are generated warning of key expiration
Additional Desired Knowledge
SQL 2014
SQL TDE encryption
SQL backup encryption
Familiarity with various encryption technologies and 3rd party solutions for helping to encrypt traffic in and out of SAP
Enabling SNC for non-SAP solutions, such as BizTalk
