New Delhi, October 26: The car of the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha has been stolen. The car had a special Parliament sticker, allowing it to drive right upto the doorstep of the Rajya Sabha.
The Bolero was last seen at 11 on Sunday night, when K Rehman Khan’s driver dropped him at home. The driver then took the car to his house near Vasant Kunj. It was reported missing from there.
The police is interrogating the driver. In the meantime, the license plate of the car has been flagged by the police, so that it can be tracked. The security at Parliament has also been alerted; the car’s RF (radio-frequency) tag, which allows it to cross several tiers of security, will be flagged the minute the car tries to enter Parliament.
