Security beefed up at “Hanuman Dham” after Bhim Army Chief gave statement

Muzaffarnagar: Security beefed up at “Hanuman Dham” in Shukratal after Bhim Army Chief gave a statement about the temple.

According to the report published in Deccan Herald, Chandrashekhar, Chief of Bhim Army gave a statement that Dalit community members should take over all Hanuman temples and appoint Dalits as priests.

He gave this statement after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. Yogi Adityanath claimed that Lord Hanuman was a Dalit.

It may be noted that Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and police teams have been deployed at the Hanuman Dham.

It may be mentioned that during a poll rally in Malakheda of Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Tuesday, Mr. Adityanath had said: “Bajrang Bali was a tribal, a forest dweller, a Dalit and was deprived. He worked to connect all Indian communities together, from north to south and east to west.”

A legal notice was also served to him by Rajasthan Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha president Suresh Mishra. Mishra had alleged that the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister called Lord Hanuman a Dalit merely for political benefit.
