Secretary Minority Welfare Mr. Ahmed Nadeem expressed great anger over failure of authorities in providing basic facilities to devotees of historical Makkah Masjid. He asked the concerned officials the reason for delay in providing facilities.
Government had directed to complete the whitewashing and other works before the arrival of Ramadan and had also released the funds, however thanks to the negligence of authorities the work was not completed yet.
Secretary Minority Welfare directed assistant commissioner of Makkah Masjid affairs S Kumar to personally oversee the arrangements and provide clean drinking water at the time of Taravih besides iftar.
