Hyderabad, September 27: Hundreds of Telangana employees in the State Secretariat on Monday intensified their strike demanding separate statehood for the region.
Besides regular demonstration, the staff launched a blind fold sit-in dharna in front of the Chief Minister’s C block. As part of the Sakala Janula Samme which entered 13th day on Monday, the Class IV staff also joining the stir. With the Class IV staff joining the agitating staff the government vehicular movement has been hit.
Later, the employees took out a big rally in the Secretariat premises raising slogans demanding a Telangana state. Work in almost all 32 departments in the State Secretariat has been paralysed due to the strike.
