Stating that the decision of constructing a new Secretariat at the Gymkhana Grounds in Secunderabad was illogical, AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was misleading the people with new assurances every day by keeping the assurances made in the past aside.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, VH said play grounds were very few in the Hyderabad City and the Chief Minister was trying to make the existing Gymkhana Grounds extinct too. He felt the youth would look towards extremism if the Chief Minister tried to divert their concentration. He asked KCR to withdraw his decision of shifting the Secretariat from existing place to Gymkhana Grounds. He also warned that he would sacrifice his life if the Chief Minister tried to shift the Secretariat to Gymkhana Grounds. He also alleged that BJP national president Amith Shaw was giving an impression that BJP has developed Telangana. (NSS)
