The Telangana Secretariat Employees Association on Wednesday staged a protest before the C-Block of State Secretariat in protest against the allocation of T-employees to residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
The employees gathered in front of the Chief Minster’s office and raised slogans against the allocation of Telangana employees to Seemandhra. They also shouted slogans against PV Ramesh, Principal Secretary (Finance), who reportedly approved the allocations. Speaking to media persons, Association President A Narendra Rao said that the allocation was in violation of the rules and the authorities were trying to transfer the juniors, instead of senior employees. He hoped that the issue would be resolved after June 8 when Nara Chandrababu Naidu takes charge as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He said Naidu and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao would take a final decision in this regard.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Etela Rajender supported the demand of Employees Association and assured them no Telangana employee would be transferred to Seemandhra. (INN)
