Mantralayam (Kurnool), January 29: An employee of the State Secretariat committed suicide here on Thursday. He was found to have committed suicide by hanging.
According to the information, the deceased Seshaiah, 26, who was working as ASO in the Home Department, has written in his suicide note that he was ending his life as he was unable to withstand the pressure of his work.
Police said the native place of the deceased was Yellanur in Anantapur district. He has taken charge as ASO only five months back. Expressing concern at the news, the Secretariat employees have demanded that work pressure on them be reduced.
