Telangana employees of Secretariat shouted Jai Telangana slogans yesterday during lunch hour to register their protest against the arrest of Telangana leaders on the occasion of “Sadak Bund” (Road Blocked) programme organized yesterday.
They alleged that Andhra rulers are fabricating false criminal cases against Telangana leaders to curb Telangana movement. They are arresting these leaders to discourage them. They are trying to weaken Telangana Movement.
They demanded the Govt. to release these leaders immediately. A large number of Telangana women employees of secretariat participated in the protest. Telangana employees threatened that they would intensify their stir in future. This protest would continue till the arrested Telangana leaders are released.
