(Siasat News) Dargah Hzt. Syed Ruhullah (Rh) situated at Buland pahad behind Qutub Shahi tombs in Golconda has 14 acres of Wakf land it is 400 hundred only Dargah. With the connivance Govt. officials and due to the weakness of the officials of A.P. State Wakf Board out of 14 acres of Wakf lands not even half acre land remained with the Dargah. It may be noted that Govt. of A.P. is constructing 850 residential quarters for State Govt. employees on this Wakf land. Some Muslims having vested interest maintained criminal silence over this issue. The name of Qutub Shahi Mosque attached to Dargah has now been change as Alamgiri Masjid. Behind changing this name there seems to be a conspiracy of the local Muslims. Keeping the local Muslims in front, some non-Muslim developers are trying to implement this conspiracy. They are making an attempt to usurp the Wakf land attached to the Mosque. Large sized iron pipes are being erected around the Mosque. Its purpose is to cordon the illegally grabbed Wakf land of the Mosque. The construction work of YSR secretariat employees colony is in progress in full swing. People say that a huge amount has been given to Wakf Board officials who are deliberately keeping quiet. The rocks of the Dargah are being blown up by explosions. If this situation continues, Wakf Board will be left out only with a few pieces of torn out old papers in the form of documents. It may be mentioned that the land value around this area is Rs. 10-12 thousand per Sq. Yards which work out to Rs. 3 to 4 crore. The land attached to Mosque is worth nearly Rs. 50 crore. Mr. Ahmedullah, Minister for Minorities Welfare had visited this Dargah in 2009 and had promised that the construction work on Wakf land would be stopped but its seems before the Govt. efforts he helpless.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily is trying to save this valuable Wakf land. He had visited the area on 20th April 2012 along with late Mr. Lal Jan Basha, former M.P. and Vice President of TDP. He had then stressed the need to save this Wakf property from illegal possessions. There is a need for the Wakf Board officials and the Minister of Wakf to take immediate action to save this valuable Wakf property.
