Secret Service arrests ‘another’ intruder for climbing White House fence

The Secret Service has reportedly arrested an intruder who climbed the White House fence on late Sunday night, marking the latest incident in a series of security breaches at the presidential residence since last year.

The incident took place at about 10:25 p.m. on the south side of the White House complex, which faces the Washington Monument, reported The Washington Post.

Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary said that the fence-climber was taken into custody immediately by officers in the agency’s uniformed division.

The individual was also carrying a package that was examined and found to be harmless, Leary said. (ANI)
