The Hyderabad City Police has imposed Section 144 Cr Pc around 500 yards at all the examination centres of the SSC examinations to be held from March 26 (Monday) to April 11.
According to City Police Commissioner AK Khan, the assembly of person at the SSC exam centres was being prohibited to maintain public order during the examination.
However, Police officers, military personnel and Home Guards on duty, Flying Squad of Education Department and Bonafide funeral procession have been exempted from the orders. The commissioner warned that any person found violating the orders would be liable for prosecution under section 144 Cr PC.
In another order, the commissioner has extended the prohibitory orders around the State Legislative Assembly building. (INN)
