SCS for AP not a big problem, but Central aid is very important: Pawan Kalyan

Janasena president Pawan Kalyan, who is under fire by ruling TDP in AP, today asserted that special category status to the State was not a big problem, but getting financial assistance from the Centre is very important thing under any name.

In an interview to a TV channel, Pawan Kalyan made it clear that he was following his own path and there was no question of mingling with the BJP. “We will decide at the time of elections whether his party has to go with any front or contest on its own”, the Janasena president said.

Referring to corruption allegations against the TDP, Pawan Kalyan said” :He did not raise corruption issue now. I have been raising the issue now and then with the Chief Minister. But he did not take it serious. Some 40 MLAs have informed me that there was corruption in the government”, he said and demanded that the Centre order a probe into his allegation.

Though he has a close relations with the Prime Minister, but he has his own limitation, Pawan Kalyan said and refuted TDP accusation that he was levelling corruption charges against the TDP with the support of the BJP. He affirmed that he has no links with anybody, but people are behind him. There was no question of any understanding with the BJP. The people of AP are unhappy with the BJP, he said.

Asked how many marks he would give out of 10 to chief ministers of two Telugu States, Pawan Kalyan said he will give 2.5 marks to Chandrababu Naidu and six out of 10 points to KCR. (NSS)
