Hyderabad, May 06: In order to cope up with the extra rush of passengers during the summer season the South Central Railway has opened additional reservation counters at Passenger Reservation System Centres in important cities and towns including satellite PRS locations over its jurisdiction.
These include the PRS offices at Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Ameerpet, Kacheguda, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati.
These additional counters are kept open during the first hour of PRS Office working hours _ 8 am to 9 am to clear the morning rush including for Tatkal tickets. This arrangement will continue throughout the current summer season.
In its continuous endeavour to meet the seasonal demand for more reservation counters, the South Central Railway has augmented the number of reservation counters by starting two additional counters at the PRS Office in Secunderabad. One additional counter each was opened at Ameerpet and Kukatpally satellite PRS locations onm March 17. At the Fatenagar MMTS station evening shift also commenced on March 24. For the convenience of Passengers,, one exclusive enquiry counter has been opened on the Bhoiguda side of the Secunderabad station.
