A scooterist was killed in a road accident occurred before the Choudhary Mansion in Ameerpet on Tuesday morning.
According to Punjagutta police sub-inspector Satyanarayana, the victim identified as Rama Rao was proceeding towards Uppal from Ameerpet on his bike. When he reached Choudhary Mansion, he accidentally fell down and came under the wheels of the Uppal Depot bus and crushed to death.
The police rushed to the spot and took the bus driver Suresh into custody. (NSS)
