Scientists of different faiths reflect upon Qur’an

The Noble Qur’an that was revealed fourteen centuries ago, mentions scientific facts that are recently been proven. Several Non-Muslim scientists embraced Islam after they found scientific miracle in the Qur’an.

Regarding the creation:

Science says that every living thing has a large proportion of water and the cells are made of around 78% of water and Allah says in Qur’an that he created everything from water.

“And Allah has created every animal from water. Of them there are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four…” (24:45)

Regarding the Big Bang Theory:

“Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, then We split them apart? And We made from water every living thing…” (21:30).

Regarding the fetal development, when a child is in its mother’s womb, the first thing to form is the ability to hear; the ears, then eyes and then mind, and Allah says:

“But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him of His spirit. And He gave you hearing, and sight, and understanding” (32:9).

Tagata Tagasone, Chairman of Department of Anatomy of Chiang University in Thailand said: “In the last three years I became interested in the Qur’an. From my studies, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Qur’an fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific methods.”

Durja Rao, a professor of Marine Geology at King Abdul Aziz University, said, “It is difficult to imagine that this type of knowledge was existing at that time, around 1400 back. Maybe some of the things they have simple idea about, but to describe those things in great details is very difficult. So this is not simple human knowledge. I thought the information must have come from a supernatural source.”
