Science Teachers’ Fair was held at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat Office Complex. Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily presided over the function and distributed certificates to the science teachers who got 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank. Prof. Qazi Siraj Azhar (USA) and Prof. Moin Ansari (USA), Dr. M.M. Abdul Kamal Nazeer (Tamil Nadu) were the Chief Guest. Dr. Naseem Akhtar, Dr. Salahuddin, Prof. A.H.N. Hanafi (Bijapur) and Dr. Nazar functioned as judges for the competition. From 15 schools of Hyderabad, 3 schools were selected for science teacher project. They include Ms. Fatima Shams (Imam Baksh School) got first prize. Ms. Syeda Fatima of New Rosary School, Salarjung Colony was given second prize and Mr. Omkar of the same school got third prize.
Dr. Samiullah Khan, Hakeem Syed Ghousuddin, Mr. Ehsan Lateef, Mr. Abdul Lateef, Mr. Abdur Rahman, Mr. Mubashir Azam and Dr. Muzaffar Ali Sajid played an active role in the program. More than 200 teachers participated in the program. Mr. Amer Ali Khan and others distributed the prizes.
