Telangana: All the educational institutions in the state were closed today following a bandh called by students unions. To curb the fee hikes in all the private and corporate institutions, the students’ unions called for a bandh today.
It also demanded to provide infrastructure in government schools including the construction of new buildings to government and gurukul schools. The union further demanded to fill up all the teachers’ posts which are vacant in the government institutions.
The student unions SFI, AISF, PDSU, AIDSO, TVV took part in the bandh. In the view of the bandh, all the private and government educational institutions have been closed today.
